In 2015 I was asked to be the ward Emergency Preparedness person.
As I started to research information, I came to the realization that
information is everywhere and convoluted to find. With that in mind
I created this page with links to the church web site as well as various
government web sites. the links will be listed first from the church, and
then from the various government sites with a listing as to which
agency they came from.
The newest preparedness guide link from Washington state
One constant I have encountered in all of the various instructions from the church, State and Nation is this:
PREPERATION and PLANNING.
We need to have a written plan to follow.
As well as plans for the whole family.
If there is any information or links that you would like to see here please feel free to contact me.
This link is to my E-MAIL
This site is not all inclusive but is a place to start.
I am open to suggestions as to how to improve the sharing of information.
In resopnse to suggestions a girl svout troop suggested a site see next listing.

In the event of a wide spread emergency, regular emergency services will be spread very thin!
It is in our own best interest to learn basic first aid and CPR. We may be all there is between hours of pain waiting for
the extreme cases to be attended to and real life or death situations.
May we diligently strive to fulfill the Lord's commandments.

After attending some training meetings, it was brought to my attention that a stake in
Florida had a very good web site, I have also found a link to Pleasant Grove in Utah.
The following link is to those sites.
The following is a link to a You Tube video on
Map Your Neighborhood.
This is a program from Washington State
The links are broken you might Google

Ok, so I have given a lot of information showing that we should be prepared. Now what? The following links are items I have culled through
searching for actual information, as opposed to pie in the sky, this would be nice, provided that you have a 2 ton truck to haul everything.
I will try to divide it according to generic groups, food, water, shelter, mental health, first aid, forms.
There are a lot of people that have put a lot of effort into organization of information and development of plans so it would be a
waste of time and energy to start over from scratch. Find what works for you and modify it or use as is.

These pages came from the Pleasant Grove web site and were
not sequential and contained some duplications.
The above links were all based on the 52 week purchasing plan.
